Case study: MAXX Design

Gaining MAXX the recognition it deserves

MAXX is a creative communications agency specialising in design, digital and marketing. It has strong links to the charity sector as well as education and business. And with a long-held belief that business should be about more than revenue, it undertakes a number of initiatives to support the local community, and new talent looking to enter the industry.

The management team wanted to secure some award wins to reward the rest of the company – gaining third-party recognition for the dedication and creativity they show to their clients, and also in helping MAXX to stand out as a leading agency in the south.

Initially, I researched a number of awards that MAXX would be eligible for. I then agreed with the management team the ones to prioritise and draft submissions for. The scope covered client projects to new and innovative service offerings, through to recognising the company’s commitment to the local community.

Alice really drove the awards initiative for us, which was great because as most agencies will agree, it’s hard to dedicate time to your own marketing when you’re busy delivering client work. Alice understands our business and helped us find the words to tell our story, show the rest of the world how creative our team is and gain them the recognition they deserve. We achieved some incredible wins, including reaching the finals of the Wirehive 100, an award ceremony that celebrates the outstanding creative and technical talent that the south has to offer. And also gaining a Silver CSR award in recognition for all we do for our local community.”
