So how do I compare?

I offer a day-rate of £360, although most of my clients prefer to work on a per-project basis where we scope out what’s needed for a full campaign.

I’m not quite 41, but I have been around a bit — working both in-house and agency side before going solo in 2015. And I’ve written for various IT and tech companies, from startups through to the big vendors.

I’ve been writing copy since I graduated in 2006 with a BA (hons) in Business and Marketing. I’ve always worked in SMEs, and have sat on 2 senior leadership teams where marketing was critical to enabling the business strategies.

The process of working together

  • Typically, we’ll start with a briefing meeting/call so I can ask you lots of questions – but I’ll send you these in advance so you have time to think.
  • You then send me through anything and everything you have to supplement the briefing. This could be brochures, white papers, case studies, presentations…
  • I’ll produce a first draft and send it to you.
  • You will then review and provide any feedback.
  • I’ll incorporate any amends and finalise v2.
  • You can publish and distribute.
  • I’ll invoice you at the end of the month.
