Case study: Manor Marketing

Working as a part of Manor Marketing’s team to support its client with smart content

Manor Marketing is a full-service PR, marketing and sales strategy agency that specialises in the broadcast sector. It had recently acquired a client that had never done any ‘formal’ marketing before and wanted to trial a promotional campaign in the run up to a regional conference.

Creating a smart content strategy, where the content produced was re-spun and re-purposed to extract its maximum value, Manor Marketing needed a copywriter to help deliver the written elements of the promotional campaign.

Having never worked in the broadcast sector before, I knew the briefing was crucial. Sitting with Manor Marketing’s client, the CEO gave me a complete brain dump about the industry, his company and their products. I was then given a 1-pager he’d written to send out to prospects, and there was some, although limited, information on their website.

I used all this to create an article, that would form the centre piece of the campaign, which I then repurposed into:

  • A series of press releases to secure media coverage ahead of the event.
  • A personal article, which the CEO posted on his LinkedIn profile.
  • Updated copy for the client’s website to ensure all the messaging was aligned.
